Was at the Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate this week for the agency UPPA/PHOTOSHOT.
They had managed to get me onto the Royal Rota so spent several hours with Charles & Camilla as they explored the showground.
It was a new experience for me. We had about a dozen different representatives instructing us on where we should be and how far we needed to stay from the Royal Couple at any time. This was way better than the many other ‘regular’ press who were a long long lens away (a stroke of luck for me as my kit doesn’t stretch anywhere close).
It was truly interesting to see how hard the news crews work. Murdo Mcleod was working on a big piece for the Observer (http://www.murdophoto.com/) . I’m looking forward to seeing his take on the day.
